How to Wash Your Bottles Minimize

(1) As soon as your bottle is empty of wine rinse it with clean water 2–3 times and let it drain. The trick with cleaning bottles is to rinse the bottle as soon as it is empty. This prevents the wine residue in the bottle drying and becoming hard to remove.

(2) Leave open when storing.

(3) When you are ready to refill, give each bottle a quick once-only rinse.

That’s all there is to it. There is no need to sterilize your bottle prior to refilling, the alcohol in the wine is a natural preservative and does that for you. Don’t use detergents or other cleaning agents as these may taint the wine and are unnecessary. If you have a dirty bottle that was not rinsed simply soak it with water over night. This should loosen the sediments. If this doesn’t work add some sand or small stones and swirl around inside the bottle. Or use a bottle brush.

If you want to remove the labels simply run hot water over each label for about 20 seconds. This will soften the glue making the label easy to remove.

Please understand that ReWine takes no responsibility for the cleanliness of your bottle.
