We found that we had lots of requests for something not so sweet as the Lambrusco but not dry either. It transpires that the biggest selling red wines in the world at the moment are this style. So look for a full bodied and genuine red wine that has loads of fresh ripe plum fruit flavour and some real strength of tannin on the palate that finishes with an easy sweet finish.
