We have blended this wine ourselves from a full bodied and strong 2010 Mc Laren Vale Shiraz with a tiny bit of our Viognier to soften the palate.
The 2010 vintage in SA is turning out to be one of the best for 10 years. When they start coming on the commercial market watch out for the hype.
This wine has loads of beautiful fruit balanced with some restrained tannins and soft ripe finish without harsh acidity. It will keep for years but who cares when it tastes this good now!
Drink it with any strong red meat (like venison or kangaroo) or with blue cheeses. It will stand up to them all.
