Too often, Marsanne wine in the year of its vintage can be bland and watery. However with some age the wine starts to develop complexity as the flavours build. This Marsanne is a good example. Now 2 years old, it is developing nicely. The fresh young flavours of apple and crunchy pear are being replaced with honey suckle overtones, and the wine has a character similar to some Italian regional whites.
