Frequently Asked Questions

  • We require that you purchase one of our bottles new the first time. Once you’ve got your ReWine bottle, you can refill as many times as you’d like!

  • We refill the bottle you already have! Just like a keep cup for your coffee, once you have a ReWine bottle, it’s yours forever. Just ensure you rinse it out with hot water as soon as you’ve finished your wine, and leave it upside down to air dry. Then it’s ready to be refilled.

  • Yes! We can fill your preferred wine into 375ml, 750ml, 1500ml , 4.5L or 20L vessels. One of the many perks of wine on tap!

  • Nope! As long as your bottle is cleaned well, we can refill it with any wine available on tap. We then slap on a shiny new label!

  • Our wine keeps as long as a regular bottle of wine! As long as your bottle is filled to the top, sealed tightly and stored in cool conditions, the wine will be perfectly fine until you’re ready to drink it.

If stored in a cool, dark location our red wines can last years. Due to white wine’s tendency for titration, we recommend drinking within 6 months, however if titrates (small crystal formations) form, they are harmless and do not affect the quality of the wine.

If wines ever do abnormally spoil, bring them into ReWine and we’ll exchange them for no extra charge.

  • Cleanskins are surplus unbranded wines, so no. At ReWine, we buy our wine direct from the wine makers in bulk, and we are transparent about who these wine makers are! See our makers page for more details. In short, our wines are coming from skilled wine makers across Australia - just in a slightly different format than what you might be used to.

  • We don’t own a vineyard but we often work closely with the people who grow and make the wine. ReWine is involved year on year with the wineries and develop the business with them, and many wineries plant vines based on what we request and make wine specifically for us, hence why we’re so lucky to be able to bring you the highest quality wine in bulk!

  • The short answer, no. While we don’t like to reveal all our secrets, our wines are stored using sophisticated technology and have already reached maturation before we acquire them. So you can rest assured that the wine is stable and maintaining its quality while being stored in the barrels.

  • Our wines contain a minimal amount of sulphur to keep them stable in large quantities. Along with this, most of our wines contain Preservative 220.

  • Yes! Almost all of our wines are vegan friendly. Each label will clearly state when the wine is vegan.

  • Most of our wines are effectively organic, as using anything artificial affects the wine negatively. However, due to the lengthy and expensive process required by the ACO to get a certification, many small wineries may not be certified organic even though they are using organic processes.

  • Unfortunately, no. We are more than happy to either refill your bottle for a discount or if you no longer require it, we can take it back. However, we do not offer refunds on the bottle.
